Egyptian Sekhem-Seichim Reiki

Sekhem-Seichim (SKHM) is an ancient Egyptian healing energy often described as the living light or power of the Sun.

Sekhem works through the heart and higher chakras, supporting deep emotional clearing, spiritual awakening, and alignment with one’s higher self with the heart center, unconditional love, and balancing masculine/feminine energies (yin/yang).

Many people experience Sekhem as a high-frequency yet grounding energy that encourages personal empowerment, self-healing, and conscious evolution.

SKHM was reintroduced to the modern world by Patrick Zeigler (an American Peace Corps worker and architect) who spent a night meditating alone in the King's Chamber sarcophagus inside the Great Pyramid of Giza. He described a powerful spontaneous initiation/experience that connected him to this energy.

Sekhem and Holy Fire® Reiki share important similarities, including their emphasis on compassion, healing, and alignment with higher consciousness, and both can be experienced as gentle yet profoundly transformative energies.

However, they differ in origin and energetic quality.

Sekhem is rooted in ancient Egyptian spiritual traditions and often feels solar, expansive, and activating, while Holy Fire® Reiki is a contemporary evolution of Reiki that emphasizes divine guidance, grace, and a sense of being held in unconditional love.

Some practitioners experience Holy Fire® Reiki as more nurturing and soothing, whereas Sekhem may feel more catalytic and awakening. Both systems complement one another beautifully, offering different pathways toward healing, integration, and spiritual growth.
