Ivonne Montijo holds a Master’s in Religious Studies from CSULB and a Bachelor’s in Spanish/Spanish Literature from UCLA. She is a 3rd Degree Usui Tibetan Reiki Ryoho and Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki Master, as well as an Animal Reiki Master.
A Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, Ivonne completed training at a Registered Yoga School (RYS) and holds additional certifications in Children’s Yoga (30 hours, Ohm Schooled) and Yoga Nidra Meditation (8 hours).
She is a certified Sound Healer.
She is currently pursuing a Yoga Alliance-certified 300-hour training, 800-hour Yoga Therapy, and Plant-Based Nutrition Counseling.
Specializing in gentle yoga, Yoga Nidra, kids’ yoga, and sound healing with quartz crystal singing bowls, Ivonne leads sound baths across Los Angeles County and the Antelope Valley.
She Authored, Mary Magdalene: Beloved Wife, Beloved Disciple; Wisdom, Asher & The Tree of Life, and The Illusionist: My Love Affair With a Sociopath.
Ivonne is adapting her acclaimed play, Rosa y Juan, La Virgin & Flan, into a novel and is writing the second book in the Jesus series, The Forgotten Teachings of Jesus: The Restoration of Jewish Christianity-Compassionate Wisdom Via the Silk Road, all available on Amazon.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, she brings a diverse, holistic approach to her work.
