Mary Magdalene has long been a controversial and misunderstood figure. Often conflated with other women in the New Testament and labeled a prostitute by Pope Gregory in 591 CE, she was in fact a devoted follower of Jesus—possibly a wealthy woman who supported his ministry.
Who was she really, and what was her true relationship to Jesus? While no single source offers a definitive answer, by examining biblical texts, sacred writings, historical context, and cultural customs, we can piece together a compelling and informed understanding of her role.
When a lost love from 30 years ago reentered her life, Ivonne thought she was living a Hollywood fairytale—but it quickly unraveled into a nightmare. The Illusionist is her personal story of falling in love with a narcissistic sociopath—a master manipulator who made her believe his love was real.
This book offers insight for anyone who has been entangled with a narcissist or sociopath.
Inside, you'll learn:
• The traits of narcissists, sociopaths, and psychopaths
• How media romanticizes toxic relationships
• Resources and support for survivors of abuse
If you’ve survived—or suspect you’re in—a relationship with a sociopath, The Illusionist offers clarity, validation, and hope.

For the past 5,000 years, we've been led to believe the feminine played no active role in the Judeo-Christian tradition. Feminist theologians challenge this, revealing that—as in Near Eastern, Egyptian, Greek, and Hindu traditions—the divine feminine was present in the Hebrew tradition as well.
Through the lens of feminist theology and the hermeneutics of suspicion, I will explore the concept of Yahweh’s consort. I propose that Wisdom (Sophia), as portrayed in the Hebrew Bible, served this role, and that she is also linked to Asherah, another figure seen as Yahweh’s consort.
I further argue that the Tree of Knowledge in the Eden narrative symbolizes the divine feminine. To build this case, I will examine:
– Who is Yahweh?
– Who is Wisdom/Sophia?
– Who is Asherah, and what is the role of sacred trees in her cult?
– How does this symbolism connect to the Tree of Knowledge in the Adam and Eve story?
